Mount Ararat Ski Trip – 7 Days

Day 1 : We meet at Ağrı or Iğdir Airport, then transfer to the hotel in Dğubeyazıt city.

Day 2: Transfer to Ararat Eli Village at 2200masl, then walk to ski base camp at 2700masl. Luggage is carried by horses up to base camp.

Day 3: Ascend carrying skies to winter ski second camp at 3600masl. Stay overnight in a tent.

Day 4:  Acclimatization day – we hike up carrying our skies to 4300masl, then ski down to second camp at 3600masl. Stay overnight in a tent.

Day 5: Summit day – we ascend carrying our skies to the summit at 5137m. We will have 10-15 minutes to take photos and then return to second camp. Stay overnight in a tent.

Day 6: We have breakfast in the morning, then ski down to 2600 masl. We then go back down to meet our driver at 2200 masl, who will take us to hotel in Doğubeyazıt. We will have one hour to rest, then have lunch and in the afternoon we go on to a cultural trip in Doğubeyazıt. We will visit Isak Paşa palace, Noha’s Ark, Iranian border, Meteor Crater; stay overnight at hotel.

Day 7: Have breakfast, then transfer to Airport.
